Welcome to ADRA Moçambique

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) is a global humanitarian organization of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It was started as a way to follow Christ’s example of serving and caring for those in need. Today, ADRA is one of the world’s most widespread non-governmental service organizations, with an active presence in a global network of more than 120 countries.

In 1987, ADRA established an office in Moçambique. Since then, ADRA Moçambique has sought to address social injustice by working to improve the quality of life for those in poverty and distress. In particular, ADRA Moçambique initiates community projects that target food security, economic development, primary health, basic education and emergency relief.
